| Good Afternoon to all.|
This is a slightly longer update but its the first one since last season.
The Winter has been a long one and too long since I have been on a Race Bike.
I have been busy training over the winter, at the gym and keeping generally fit.
I have also spent many hours on my training bikes, MX and Pit biking too.
I had a great time at the MCN Show in London thanks to Peter Boast for inviting me to a take part in a full weekend of flat tracking with lots of top riders putting on a show for the spectators .
Last weekend I was down south at Clay Pigeon track on my Baines Leasing pit bike coaching a few children and helping them improve which was successful and also racing myself too.
This came a few days after returning from 5 days in Spain Testing on the Kovara Projects RS Racing GP2 bike which i will be riding this year within the Supersport Championship.
All the team travelled over and we had two days firstly in Almeria, We then travelled to the next track Cartagena where we had a rest day and time to recharge the batteries before another 2 full days of on track action.
2019 Spain testing was very successful from my half.
Struggling for a few years with confidence and all out speed I’m more than happy and super confident going into this 2019 season with Ryan saxelby ( RS Racing / Kovara Projects).
we tested many things, i felt really comfortable on the Kalex GP2 machine and the speed was there.
It was also a huge joy to work with Ryan again like in 2011 as he understands and works with me a lot more than any other person I’ve worked with.
I’m really looking forward to teaming up with Jake archer #47 this year and getting this very important season underway!
Thanks to all the team #77 for 2019 and all my personal sponsors.
We are now on countdown until official BSB Track Day April 9th then eagerly awaiting Round 1 at Silverstone April 19th – 21st.
